Struers Accutom 50 is a precision cut-off machine with a variable cutting disk rotation speed (300 - 5,000 rpm), variable sample feed speed, motorized sample positioning system, built-in sample holder rotation and oscillation function and liquid cooling system. Digital control system allows easy set-up for required cutting parameters, monitoring of the cutting processes, and storage of 100 user defined cutting methods. A set of cut-off wheels and specimen holders available in the laboratory allows cutting of almost any type of hard materials (metal alloys, ceramics, composites, rocks and minerals) with high quality of the finish surface that requires minimum polishing for optical and SEM imaging.
