Researcher biography
Dr Rubbiya Ali completed her PhD degree and continued as a research officer in Hankamer Group at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland. In particular, Rubbiya developed computational methods (3D BLE, RAZA) for edge detection and particle picking of 3D organelles, macromolecules and membrane proteins. Her major research activities at CMM are 2D/3D image processing (segmentation and particle picking), microscopic data analysis, software development and database management.
