
Researcher biography
Jack holds a double Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Curtin University. His career began with experience in mapping and interpreting mafic and ultramafic amphibolites at a Plutonic Gold Mine. Since then, he has specialised in spectral analysis techniques of inorganic materials. Jack’s diverse background includes experience with a range of instrumental techniques, including micro-XRF, XRD, SEM, pXRF, SWIR, FTIR, and Raman. In his previous role as a senior spectral geologist, he worked closely with companies like Bruker to develop, expand, and train others on the application of these techniques.
