Researcher biography
Rachel joined the CMM team in 2023 after she completed her BSc (Hons) at Griffith University in 2022, where she collaborated with CMM on her thesis in natural product chemistry. She is currently a PhD candidate at GU where she continues her collaboration at CMM, focusing on Mass Spectrometry techniques such as liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), and both Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization (MALDI) and desorption electrospray ionisation (DESI) imaging, to identify and locate new bioactive compounds in plants.
