Krűss DSA10 – Drop Shape Analysis
Principles:
The DSA10 allows for static, advancing and receding contact angle contact angle measurements, in addition to surface and interfacial tension measurements using the pendant drop method, and calculated using the Young-Laplace equation.
Suitable for:
Characterisation of surfaces and surface coatings (wettability)
Air-liquid measurements
Liquid-liquid measurements
Liquid-solid measurements
Static and dynamic measurements
Surface elasticity measurements (qualitative)
Benefits:
Small volume of sample required (5-10 µL droplets).
Quick, accurate measurement.
Simple to use.
Trackmate feature allows time-dependent measurements
