On Tuesday, 26th November, the Centre for Microscopy & Microanalysis (CMM) hosted its annual User Forum, welcoming around 60 attendees from diverse research fields. The event featured a range of insightful presentations showcasing cutting-edge research facilitated by CMM technologies, including mineral mapping, photovoltaic innovations, extracellular vesicle analysis, and space exploration materials, to name a few.
Attendees also received updates from CMM labs and enjoyed networking with fellow researchers from various disciplines.
A key highlight of the forum was the importance of the strong engagement from researchers, whose innovative work continues to drive the advancement of CMM’s instrumentation and techniques. Their feedback and collaboration are essential to shaping the future of the centre, ensuring it remains at the forefront of scientific discovery.
