Researcher biography
Philippa completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology at The University of Edinburgh and Ph.D. Geology/Palynology (organic microfossils) at the University of Aberdeen Scotland. She has experience in the characterisation of material and biological samples working in multi-user interdisciplinary electron microscopy facilities at UQ, CMM and QUT, CARF. Philippa’s primary roles are helping internal and external clients with conventional SEM, Variable Pressure SEM (VP-SEM) and Field Emission SEM (FE-SEM).
