Researcher biography

Dr Ming Li completed a Bsc (Engineering) in 2010 and Master’s degree (Materials Engineering) in 2012 at North Eastern University, P.R. China. Then she went on to complete a PhD (Materials Engineering) at the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Ming worked as a post-doctoral researcher at school of Mechanical and Mining Engineering, UQ. In particular, her main research focus is on crystallography in metallurgical materials and in-situ transmission electron microscopy in characterising energy storage materials. In 2021, She was recruited to Center for Microscopy and Microanalysis, UQ, focusing on the Advanced SEM and EBSD techniques.
