Researcher biography

Lachlan obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Queensland in 2010, and returned to complete a PhD in the areas of structural biology and biophysics. He joined the X-ray laboratory of the CMM in 2016, and brings expertise in X-ray scattering, biological sample preparation, and data analysis. His responsibilities include the development of the Centre's new capabilities for X-ray fluorescence microscopy, as well as operation and client support for X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering.
